Establishing the Awards: Regarding our highlights, let us present one of the first significant developments in the course of the organization’s functioning – the creation of the awards program. To give the awards a personal touch, we ensured that each of them captured the aspects that are dear to us; excellence, integrity, inspiration, respect, and service. The first award that the Bharat Gaurav Ratna Shri Sammaan initiated was a visionary and within a very short period, it became one of the most prestigious awards in the nation. The adoption of the above success enabled ICD to add other awards with different focuses and bases for the award.

Growing Our Reach: Since the beginning of the program, it has grown in the total number of awards given and the international coverage. We have made efforts to be fair in giving out awards to participants from all four corners of India. We have strived to support diversity, which has enabled us to pay tribute to people from various domains such as arts, literature, science, public service, social justice, and so on.

Building a Network: As it developed, we came to understand the need to expand our network of awardees so that could form a group where everyone would have the support of the others. We embarked on developing events and activities that will help our awardees to meet and interact and in effect, help create a mentorship model. This has become one of the important networks of our organization, as it assisted in expanding the reach of our awards, beyond the individual level.

Adapting and Innovating: In this journey, we have always ensured that we are flexible and improve on what is relevant in the market. By doing this it has been possible to incorporate new technologies into the process, increase and diversify the recognition outreach, and even improve on the method used to choose the best recipients. This flexibility has become crucial in our operations and helps to explain why we have stayed relevant and have not lost our prestige.

Looking Ahead: Looking to the future ends we are optimistic now that there are so many opportunities ahead of us. So far and with all these experiences under our belt, we have laid a good foundation to prepare for the next phase to further elevate our work. We still stand by our vision and we shall keep on insisting on identifying and rewarding those who are hardworking and have positive impacts on our society.
