The Bharat Ratna Samoan is absolutely averse to oppression and is dedicated to a campaign for human right and highlighting the profile of those who have struggled or sacrificed time and energy for the cause of liberty. Our awards are given to people who have devoted their lives for the purpose of fighting for causes of the oppressed and for equality and social justice. From our perspective at BHARAT RATNA SAMMAAN, human rights are the prerequisites of a fair world, and all people fighting for them are great for creating such a world for everybody.
We at BHARAT RATNA SAMMAAN hope to encourage people to take action in the fight for, and promotion of, human rights through appreciation for the work done by these activists. It is staged at ensuring that those we celebrate demonstrate immense courage, sturdiness and empathy as they offer their services in quests for justice in difficult environments at times. They have directly contributed into changing laws, policies and awareness in the society making the society embrace changes towards fairness.
This recognition by BHARAT RATNA SAMMAAN of human rights advocates seeks to nurture culture of humane dispensation into our society, compassion, and justice. We thought that people need to see role models who contributed positively to the improvement of human rights in other to encourage them to join the fight. The triumph of our awards was a strong message on the need to fight for the rights of every people, without discriminating anyone against their RIGHTS to live a free and fulfilling life.
